Question about goat milk!!

Hi all,if a goat is positive for CAE,can you feed the milk to calfs?? Or will they get sick from it?? my neighbor has plenty of goat milk and with the price of milk replacer,I was thinking of feeding the goat`s milk.any help on this would be helpful.Thanks.

CAE is species specific. It only affects goats.
Feeding the milk to calves will not harm them.

As Roseanne said, it won't harm them a bit and calves do very well on goats milk....much better than they do on replacer.
