Diapers?

Anyone use disposable diapers on kids when they're in the house? I tried an 8-14 pounder on an 8 pound kid and it seemed too small. Maybe if I cut a hole for his tail?

Just how stupid does this thread sound, anyway?

I would try the next size up-- goats are proportioned different than baby humans. A hole for the tail could maybe work, but I wonder if the jell like gunk would fall out where it was cut once they pee?

diapers are wonderfull, you can keep them on by putting a baby one peice on over it and cut hole in both for the tail.

I haven't had trouble with goats making messes indoors... as long as I don't give em a bunch to drink!

Would "Depends" work better than baby diapers?

I used a small diaper for my doeling, and the next size up for the boys to make sure their winky was covered, didn't cut a hole for the tail. I used one long piece of duct tape to go part way around the waist, and that kept them on, er, rather well.

We diapered our bummer lambs for the few days they lived indoors. Bigger was better for us, I got a size 3 and they seemed to work the best (we also cut a hole for the tail).

We diapered our bottle babies this spring when they were in the house. We cut a hole for the tail and used a small piece of masking tape across their back to hold the diaper in place. We used size 3 too. Worked better than smaller ones.

When my bottle baby was in the house, we used pull ups, cut a hole for the tale, and made it into a type of goat overalls, he's a boy so I hade to cover up his peepee too, it was a BIG mess when it wasn't covered. I made them into overalls by pulling the top of the pull up near his shoulders, cutting a hole for each arm, then slipping the arm through the hole, he was SO cute in his diaper, I wish I could get the picture on here, but it's not on the computer.
