A rather urgent question, please try to answer soon!
My doe is due on may 1st, next wedsday actually. I have always given Bo-Se shots a week before the 150th day, and I shouldve given it yesterday. But, when I was double checking the instructions on the bottle, it says DONT GIVE TO PREGNANT EWES!! I assume that this means does too, since they are similar.
Says it may cause abortion. This late in gestation, not sure how much that matters, but you never know.
The thing is, I dont remember ever reading a caution like this all the other times I have injected it. Is this something new, or a different kind of Bo-Se?? Should I still give it? It also says give 2.5 mLs per 100 lbs of body weight, and I never remember how much I gave in previous years, but this seems like a lot, subQ in one spot.
What say you? To give, or not to give?
