Hi everyone! I'm new to this thread and am terribly excited, my new herd of registered white angora goats arrived from Maine today! They are so beautiful and already settling in with me. I'm so excited..... can you tell?

WHAT?!? No pics!?! And details, we need details - how many, how old . . . . inquiring minds want to know!

Congratulations, you're going to enjoy them.

OH, I've been running myself ragged trying to get a stall ready for the oldest to kid.... I'll take my camera with me the next time I go to the barn. The rain is off and on now but now I understand that goats can kid 5 days in either direction of the due date! :baby04:
I'm hoping she'll give me a another day or two and then she will have a beautiful new stall just for her and the other two that are due.

Do tell me, I understand that goats do not like to be alone (or at least that is what I was told). Should I put all three that are due in one stall or just the one that is due first?

Well we had two set of twins today! And man have I been busy....
I bought a small herd of Ken's neighbors, I was a little too late in commiting on Ken's but these are from his stock and such sweet girls and guys!
Now, needless to say I totally forgot all about the camera but I WILL take it with me in the morning to the barn. We now have 3 little girls and 1 little boy and all I want to do is hold them all!
I'd better get dinner on before I'm fired around here.

Congratulations Tami!

Guess I got them to your place just in time! I thought I saw one with her legs closed tightly.
