What kind of feeders for free choice alf?

I have noticed that several of you ladies are feeding free choice alfafa pellets and I am wondering what kind of feeders you use.We have been a a bad drought here and good hay is hard to come by and expensive. I am feeding out the last of my alfafa hay and need to know more about pellets. Still have a good supply of grass hay - but know that I need to be feeding something with more protein. Any ideas for feeders? Also how many of you use beet pulp and how do you feed that?

Ok here are some photos of my alfalfa feeders and my hay feeder (my alfalfa feeder have now been adjusted so I can feed from the loft instead of going into the pen and putting alfalfa in them.

Here are the photos of the feeder. Don't mind the goats...they wanted in it also. These are not the best photos ever I could get.








This is my hay feeder




I built my hay feeder so I wouldn't have to go inside the pen and it can fit a full size 3 string bale of hay in there if if the bale isn't opened. The alfalfa feeders are just over 5 feet in length and about 12-14 inches wide (maybe more...can't remember).

ps: Mine work wonders as far as alfalfa pellets go! They COULD even be used as hay feeders I suppose for those who might want to. I built a smaller version of the ones in my milking does pen for my bucks outside and again it works wonders. In my big ones I can fit 80lbs of alfalfa pellets in each and then in the smaller buck one I can fit 50lbs.
