not sure if goat is pregnant or not

Hubby says she is; I say she's just fat. I checked her udder (nothing new) and felt her right side/underside and felt no movement. This doe is 195 lbs. of sheer muscle! She's beautiful, so if she's actually pregnant, I'll be elated! Last year she was bred but it didn't take, and we were too new to realize it. We dragged her to the breeder's place multiple times in December. Still not sure. I've cut back on her grain thinking she's just fat, but she is STILL big.
I don't want to cut back too much in case she is pregnant. I probably will never know ahead of time with her til I see a baby on the ground. Her ligaments are 'meaty'. Can't feel her ribs...she has no hollow spot where the other goats do. She's just all muscle! I haven't detected a heat, and now we have a buck for her to visit and play with thru the fence. She's just not interested.

if she is not responding to the buck you would think she is bred. I would not cut her to much down on feed if she is pregnant, they take off a lot of weight when they kid and with making milk. Good luck -Alivia

Did anyone see her being bred?

We have a December-bred doe we're not sure about either. Dry does don't need that much grain - it would be fine to keep her cut back a bit even if she were pregnant, as long as she has all the hay she wants. You can ramp up again later if you realize for sure she is bred.
