Talking She had them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Lily had triplets this afternoon and we did not even know because when we checked on her this morning she eat and was fine then later when we look down in the field and she was slipping out the third one and the other two were already partly dried off so we took all four of them to the kidding stall and we looked and we have one buckling and two doelings .
The buckling weighs 10 pds and the doelings weigh 5-6 pds.
Her are some pics.
The doelings

How late was she?

I have one on day 155 and showing no signs that she will go any time soon--I am starting to worry.

Hi TM23,

I am Marisa's mom.

She was 7 days over due. Since she didn't deliver on time we thought she was due at her next due date (March 29th).

We have been watching this doe like a hawk for a week and a half. I thought for sure she was going to have them last week on her due date. Nothing. I kept locking her up in the kidding stall because I thought for sure she was going to deliver any minute. Nothing. I checked on her the night before and spent a lot of time in the goat barn. Nothing. I checked on her that morning. Nothing. She seemed the same to me and ate just fine. Then around 4:00 pm we look down into the field (we live above the goats/sheep) and see a baby on it's way out! Like Marisa said, the one we saw was the third and we grabbed our birthing kit (a little late!) and picked them all up in towels, hooked up the heat lamp in the birthing stall, and got momma down there (she kept looking for them were she had birthed them).

They are all doing great, nursing like champs. Everyone latched on right away. I hope that big buckling will let his sisters eat enough, we are going to watch and make sure everyone is getting their fair share. We've never had triplets before.

Thanks everyone for all your support! This board has really helped us over the last couple of years of goat raising.
