A CDT is a vaccine. From Jeffers:
"Clostridium perfringens Types C & D Tetani Bacterin-Toxoid
(Intervet) Vaccine for use in healthy cattle, sheep and goats as an aid in the prevention of entertoxemia caused by Clostridium perfringens types C & D and Clostridium tetani (tetanus)." It prevents tetanus and a disease commonly known as "over eating disease"

You do not have to get CD&T from only jeffers. I get it a lot cheaper at my farm supply store. If you have a CO OP close, that is the cheapest. If you get it from jeffers don't forget to add the price for shipping and the overnight fee, because it has to be refrigerated. I have had the best luck with the Colorado Serem. It is always 2CC no matter the age or weight and sub Q.

Welcome to the board.
