I just emailed this page to my best friend in PA, she and her DH might be interested in going.

By the way I used to live in Titusville, PA... until last June when I moved to Nebraska. So I know where North East is!

I grew up in Tryonville (just west of Centerville). But I spent a lot of time about halfway between Titusville and Pleasantville as a kid.... go through Titusville toward Pleasantville and turn left (on to Enterprise Road) at Wolfkiel's before you start up the hill toward Pleasantville. The place is called Dotyville, it is not really a town, but any old timers in the area know where it is. LOL

Isn't that area beautiful.... still not overdeveloped. Now I'm getting homesick!! I miss all the trees.... there are not too many here in the Great American Desert (but I am doing my part to plant more!!! ).

I read this post and said, "Hum, PA is just over the river from NJ, maybe I can go" Did a mapquest....over 6 hours to get there. I'm going to Harrisburg for the 25th so I don't think I'll be coming.

Well, I'll be there at any rate. If anybody from here is going, I would sure like to meet you and be able to put a face to the name. I've already met moosemaniac - a great lady!

So, anybody else from the forum going?

Thinking about making the trek, but that is over 5 hours travel time for us. Anybody in the area suggest a good hotel or bed and breakfast for parents and two small kids (one parent would stay with kids while one attends the program)?????
It would be neat to meet other forum folks....

The seminar is in a rather rural area. I think though if you google Albion PA you might come up with on or two. Otherwise, there are several on I-90, not too much of a drive from the seminar. Kids are welcome at the seminar though. It's at an Amish home...you can bet there will be kids there.

Oh yes, the raffle tickets. I can purchase them there on Saturday, correct? I'd certainly like a chance to get a Boer doe.
