Local TSC getting goats

I just came back from the local Tractor Supply. I was asking about chicks but they aren't getting any this year. The manager said they are getting Boer goats in a few days though and will have them in the parking lot.

Is this common that TSC would sale goats? And would you be willing to buy from them? Pros/Cons? I'm new to goats so I'm just wondering.

Thanks!
Ashley

I've never heard of it, but it seems better than going to the auction.

I would bet that it is more like a GROUP that will be selling them in the parking lot. We have a group that does it every year. They call it a Kid sell, and they sell the Pygmy goats for like $400.00. I have to say most of them come back home with the seller.

They have a event every year here. I have been asked to bring goats , sheep even horses . It draws in customers which increases sales. If you bring your animals it's good pr for you.
