two miscarriages in two weeks

i have had two does loose kids in the last couple weeks.the first was a 10year old nubian that is feeling her age-so i did not really think anything.the next one was a 4year old lamancha doe she is lowest on the totem pole.they were 4to6 weeks from there due dates and one had twins and one triplets.i do vacinate and feed these girls well.wondering if this is a problem or just bad luck?any ideas on what could be going on?both of these does have kidded every year with no issues.

It could be a disease that you don't vaccinate for. Or it could be that the one doe is too old and the younger doe got bopped good in the side enough to abort...

Yes just like in the other thread unless you test you guess. A 10 year old who is feeling her age is likely getting picked on by other herd members, the same one who picks on the LaMancha? That is likely your answer, with a sexually transmitted abortive disease the buck would have bred each doe in succession. Did you breed the does to the same buck? Vicki

hang in there...antibiotics may help

I am facing a similiar probelm and I gave oxttetracycline in case that could help. Since your other does are due so soon, I have no idea if that will work, but I hope so. Just a warning...from what I read, we shouldn't expose ourselves to the placent and brithing fluids, etc, as some of these diseases can be transmitted to people (especially young women beware)! Let me know how the rest of your herd kids...I have a few more to kid as well, and I am hoping for the best!
