ideas for educational program

I am trying to grow the dairy goat project in our local county and regional 4H shows and have decided to host an Goat Educational Event in April. Here are some of the ideas for topics I want to talk about: Basic Goat Care/Feeding, Hoof Care, Breeding/Kidding, Good Health, and Goat Emergencies. There will be 4H members 5 to 19 and their parents and I am expecting younger siblings. Does anyone have any ideas for activites for the children afterwards. Since I am doing this myself - I have a pretty small budget. I am going to ask the local feed store for a donation of a bag of feed or something for a door prize. Any one else have any ideas on things that should be discussed?

I attended a 4-H goat day with the teen that helps us make hay and got us started with the meat goats last year. It was a hands on at one of the leaders farms. The had the local vet present and gave vacinations, trimmed feet, were supposed to disbud but she didn't have any to do. The kids did everything w/ supervision from the leader. Goat bowl was very interesting, they had a large outline of a goat and one of the older girls went thru the body parts and how they should be for showing then each kid drew tags with a body part on it and had to put it in the proper place on the drawing. Very informative and might be something you could make into a group activity like pin the tail on the donkey!
