addicted

I posted a few days ago about my fainter having a baby and I didn't even know she was pregnant.
Well, mama and baby are doing fine. It is a boy and he is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I am totally addicted.
I have always wanted goats. We moved from urban to rural a year and a half ago. We have 20 acres of trees. Lots and lots of trees and brush. I wanted to clear and get some grass growing and build a barn before I got some milk goats. I figured it would be a few more years till I got some.
Last fall my SIL gave me 2 fainter's, does. She said they would be brush eaters. Well we built them a small shed and fenced a half acre for them.
I am now moving the barn up on the list of priorities. I want some more goats.

laffs we have at latest count 15 Nigerians we were going to get 2 to help keep the weeds down in the cow pasture. We started with 2 bought a small herd. We later realised there had been some management issues at their old home so we lost a couple. We were at 10 and doing good. Then we missed one meeting (Nigerians Annoymus) and we bought 2 more for Christmas. What to get the wife that has everything? MORE GOATS!!! anyway we started having kids 3 weeks ago so far 2 bucks and 1 doe One is on delivery watch could pop any minute.
Anyway I gotta go play with the kids having withdrawals here

Yep, just like potato chips. Bet you can't have just one!

And as for the babies- they are the biggest time-wasters going! I go out to do chores and come back HOURS later having spent all that time watching the little guys bounce and play. Truly addictive in all aspects!
