How often should new babies be eating

We have 2 new kids from a first freshner and they seem to be nursing constantly. I'm worried they may not be getting enough to eat? How do you know if they are eating too often? Anyone have any experience like this? They are currently about 4 hours old and they are walking around just fine.

At 4 hours old I doubt they are taking alot at any one time. Feed them til there bellys are full.

It's primarily instinct kicking in, once you see them suck and release you should test the teat for content. If there is still food available then there is no need to worry. Try this several times I think you will be surprised and pleased....
