Nubian And Boer/cross Does For Sale

I posted awile back about my nubian doe and my boer cross doe charging my kids. (human After a lot of thinking and debating, we have decided to sell them. I know they can be fixed, but my kids are too scared of them right now to help me try. I think they may just be too young right now and their hearts aren't into the goats. Both does are between a year and a year and a half old (never bred) and are really very sweet to everyone but small children and my dog. The nubian is a purebred black with white ears, I could have had her registered but chose not to, I do still have the lady's # from where I got her. The boer cross (we think) came from an auction at only a day or two old. Seperated from momma right there in the ring. we think she is a boer or a boer cross. She is smaller than our nubian but much bigger than any dwarf or miniture. I am not too familiar with all the breeds, she may not have any boer at all! Though her coloring matches one. I don't know how much to ask for them, I really want them to go to a goat friendly home with someone who will understand what they need. If anyone is interested in either of these girls just leave a post that you are interested and I will leave my contact info. I am in DeSoto MO, about 30 miles south of St.Louis.

AWW Too bad you aren't closer, I'd be willing to trade you a nubian who gets along quite well with my 4 yr old nephew!

Thats very sweet of you, I think we are going to be goatless for awhile. I am also into my horses and am going to focus on them for awile until we have a better goat setup.
So far someone in the Springfield area may be interested in them, but I haven't heard anything recently, so who knows!

wow, my goats get along great with my kids, but they've for the most part been raised with them. We do have on old doe that I don't know if she ever was around kids before coming here. around 7 yrs ago I bought my first pure bred $$ goat, and she was an elderly couples goat now she rammed the kids and down the road she went.
