Tennesseans, Bo-se question

I live in southern middle tn and was trying to figure out if this is a selenium deficient area. I am sure someone here knows.

Do you do the Bo-se shots and if you do what is your schedule.
Thanks
Melanie

selenium

I am east of Birmingham, Al. and we are suppose be ok on selenium. I know this streak runs on up into Tenn., but not sure if it covers your area. There is a map on the net that shows the selenium levels across the U.S.

I live in VA at the mountains and we give it. I just had to give a small shot of it to a baby that was born in December and she was fine after that. I do not give them on regular basis. It is a pending thing I guess, for your area. We have been informed by Ag. Dept. we have some def in our area. You can contact your local Ag ext and they can tell you. Also it is good to have your soil tested and if you have a farm, they ag dept will do for free, at least around here they do.

Thanks for the map, it is great.

My county is .26 +/- .14 ppm.

Do you think I should give selenium??
