Unhappy Lost one!

I lost one of the babies. The one that had been abandoned by her mama.

Stupid boss wouldn't let me leave work to see if I could do something.

I'm sorry the little one didn't make it. I suppose your boss' attitude is "it's just a goat"?

I'm afraid I would be inclined to call in sick in a situation like that.

Ruth, I am so sorry that you lost the little one. I have to look at it as, the little one was not ment to live, if she was, she would have. God bless you, don't beat yourself up or your boss.

Ruth, that is very sad . . . I agree with Sweet Goats, i.e., 'let it go', but I'd be sure to mention it to my boss. Hopefully a little guilt will go a long way, and next time . . . ??

I left the boss a computer message just before I left yesterday for the day. "Baby goat died. Thanks." He hasn't said much to me today.

Perfect . I had a boss like that . . . my own son ran away (for two days) after a fight with his dad, and he told me I shouldn't let my home life interfere with my job. It really interfered when I quit and started working for someone else.

Sorry you lost your baby.

I was working in a pet store when I had a bottle baby and everyone loved it!! She came to work with me up until she started chewing on and damaging things. People for months afterward asked where the goat was.
