Wether breathing hard

We have 9 goats, 7 does, a buck and a wether. Both the boys are about 7 months old. When we let the 'kids' out to run and exercise and forage, my little wether huffs and puffs and breathes real hard. He's not fat, doesn't have a cough, is healthy in every other way. (BTW, he does NOT know he's a goat, thinks he's a cross between a dog and a human i think, lol. Everywhere i go he is at my side, talking away. ) Hes also kind of a klutz goat. Sometimes his aim outpaces his ability to jump, so he's fallen a few times. Anyone have any ideas or a reason for this? Thanks

Did he have pneumonia when he was a baby? He may have some scarring to his lungs. Maybe he just runs and plays harder than the other goats. When one of my older does developed breathing problems, my vet thought it was probably allergies. I think some goats are just klutzier than others. If he seems to have neurological problems, I'd have your vet take a look at him.

His temp is normal. This has been going on a while...i thought maybe cuz he fell once maybe he bruised something but this isnt going away. Otherwise he is a happy healthy jumpy bumpy goat. And no, he was never sick when he was little. So i'm stymied

Hmmm, that's odd. If he seems otherwise healthy, I'd say leave him be. However, watch him well; if he is allergic to something or gets sick otherwise, there's a good possiblility that his lungs will fail him. Maybe he has asthma? (sp) Just be thankful the wether is the one with the bad lungs, lol. I butchered a rooster specifically because I didn't want his babies to have the breathing problem that rooster seemed to have, lol. We called him the 'asthmatic chicken', hehe.

Oh, and I have a clutzy goat, too. She's a really really small alpine who seems to forget where her feet are sometimes, lol. Today she fell on her face... About peed myself laughing because i've never seen a goat fall on thier face before, haha. But she also has the dantier, graceful attitude of alpines, so when she does trip/fall, she gets up like " I meant to do that. "
