Question Eye turned milky white

Hi,
I have a pet goat that started having clear tearing from her left eye about 4 days ago no other signs of injury , (the only animal on 2 acres). I called the vet but he doesn't see goats but did order a antibiotic eye drop the tearing has progressed with some yellow matter in the corner of the eye and now the whole eye has turned a milky white and she can't see me from that side now. Could this have been an injury? Any other suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

Squirt some LA 200 or Biomyacin in her eye for a few days. That usually clears things up quickly, even when the ointments can't. She may have a chlamydia infection in her eye.

I agree, it sounds like 'pink eye' which can be caused by chlamydia bacteria. It's not the same chlamydia as in human STDs. Her vision may come back and her eye will look normal again once the infection clears up.
