Smile safety w/wormers

merry christmas to all--- dectomax 1%doramectin w/v inj this wormer sounds like a god send by their lit. has anyone had much experence w/this wormer?? they use on sheep but how about goats? how safe is it really, what dose for 100lb goat? thanks nfp

Brand Name: Dectomax
Active Ingredient(s): doramectin 1% injectable; doramectin 0.5% pour-on
Availability: OTC
Withdrawal: 35 days before slaughter for injectable; 42 days before slaughter for pour-on
Indications:
Control of internal and external parasites
Dosage: 1ml per 75 lbs. SQ or IM (injectable) 5ml per 110 lbs. applied topically (pour-on)
Goat Notes: 1 ml per 35 lbs. given orally (injectable) 1lm per 10 lbs. given orally (pour-on)

I used Dectomax for about a year several years ago. It worked well at first, but after using it a couple times(in a 8 month period) it no longer worked well, so I switched to Cydectin. I have never regreted the switch.
