Little Moose got his Splint Removed

Little 13 week old Moose (boer buckling) got his splint removed on Saturday. Although his leg looks a bit scrawny compared to the other four and seems a little weak from having support for a month, he's bouncing around and for the most part acting pretty "capricious". His busted hock is healing quite well. I'm very happy!

That is wonderful news. Do you have to make sure he doesn't hurt himself again? If so I bet that will be a real chore.
