Almost kidding time!

Update on my possibly pregnant pygmy.... Well, she is in fact pregnant- I got to feel the kid(s) move!

I went out to feed this morning and she was bleating at me, and moving very strangly. This goat RARELY makes any noise at all, but there she was just yelling at me over and over. I think it is about time!!

I tried to get her into the barn, but I think I"ll have to wait until she calms down a bit. She is still rather skittish. Luckily this old lady has popped out many many kids (for her previous owner), so I'm hoping she won't have any trouble this time. (Gonna call my farmer neighbor just in case)

False alarm. No kids yet.

Do goats have a gaoty version of Braxton-Hicks contractions? I swear she was having something going on earlier this evening, but all is quiet now. She is resting peacefully in the barn with her buddy, while the sheep stands gaurd outside.
