Heavy bred doe w/ bloody discharge

I have a 2nd freshening 3yr old due Dec. 16 that is having pinkish red discharge tonight. Last year she didn’t look bred, then had clear discharge so I thought she was in heat again and took her to be rebred… She had triplets six weeks later. This year she is huge and has been very uncomfortable. So is this something to worry about? Is there something I should do?

I would think if there is a bloody discharge then it is quite possible that something is not quite right. Are you sure of her dates...Dec 16 seems a long time away if she is already huge.

I have had a couple does do this right before kidding and everything was fine.
But, I was very worried! Everyone said it is not normal!
So I hope your doe is ok, but dont automatically assume there is a problem. Watch her very closely.

No discharge this morning.

I am sure of her dates. I walked her to the buck pen myself, she was in obvious heat and well, she was into it

I am pretty sure she'll have quads she is so huge and I tend to get a lot of quads around here.

On one hand I think the discharge might be normal for her since she had it last time, but I am worried about the blood. I worry she'll loose her kids. But maybe it has something to do with so much weight and pressure from quads. Anyway it seems fine today so I'll hope for the best.

Ark, how long before they kidded did your does do this?
