I paid $150.00 for him. Figured that was a pretty good price. He is only 7 months old, so that is why he went pretty cheap I imagine. He has some enoblements in his pedigree, as well as some EGGS blood, so I can't wait to see what he throws. He is registered with the International Boer Goat Assoc., so I need to see if I can get him into the ABGA. Anyone know? He is registered at 100%.
There was one Buck that went for over $1,000.00. One gorgeous mature Buck only went for $150.00, he was definately worth over a grand. I think he only went so cheap because he was the first one to go. This boy was stacked, If I had the space to bring him home, I would have bid on him, he was just massive. If I was the cosignor on him, I woulda cried that he went at that price.
All in all, there were better prices if you were a buyer than if you were a seller. Some 100% reg does went for under $100.00. Had I known my Buck was going to be that cheap, I would bid on some of those does. My buck didn't some till toward the end though.
