Biosol orally?

Have you ever heard of giving kids w/runs biosol orally? A lady down the road who has been raising goats for a long time says 2-3 cc for 4-5 days will even take care of cocci.

Just wondering if I should retain this bit if information or file it in circular file!

It's time to go out and mend some fences, 78 degrees and breezy today, so I'd better take advantage of the break in weather

Here is what I found out about that product..


Biosol Over-the-counter Neomycin Sulfate 200 mg per ml
(Pfizer) For control & treatment of scours. May be added to drinking water for herd treatment. May be given undiluted or diluted with water or milk for individual treatment. Give small kids 2cc, larger kids 3-4cc, and grown goats 5-7 cc orally.

I have this stuff here at home but I haven't even had to crack open the bottle yet..

We started using it for bottle calves, and used it on goats because it was on hand. Worked very well, and keeps well. We are still using the bottle we bought years ago.
