Can goats clean out garden after harvest?

Just wondering if it is safe to let goats clean out the garden after I am done harvesting the vegs? Is there any plant that might be toxic to them or anyhthing I should be concerned about?

well fed goats that have plenty of options wont eat something bad for it, the know to naturally ovoid toxic plants, its the goats that are starveing for fresh greens that will get into trouble

but all that considerd yes its fine to put the goats into the garden, i once had my goats accedentally get into my garden once BEFORE harvest and they did a pretty good job of cleaning it out,.

I would be careful of the foliage of tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and potatoes. Also rhubarb.

after the garden is done, my bucks are transferred to a pen we built around the garden for the winter. We did this so that they fertilize the garden during the winter. They do a pretty darn good job of it, too.
