if you keep good feed infront of them, and they have the right balance of loose minerals, and they are kept paracite free they will be fine, the only time you will run into problems with breeding any animal is if they are lacking nutritionally in something or have a heavy paracite load and trying to both keep them self well fed and the kids, but if everything is in good order they will be fine,
Dairy breeders dont usually breed that often just because if the pauses in the milk cycle but then even that is not that much of a pause as most of them (not all) milk right up untill about a week or so of delivery, which as long as the animals are WELL fed there is no problem.
