Someone decode my does preg test???

So I got the results today from Biotracking and what? Can't they just say, "yes, she's prego" or "no, she's not?" What about "positive" or "negative"?

anyone know how to read these things?

All I find in searching is something about PSPB showing signs of pregnancy. Something about high levels of PSPB means pregnant, I guess. And that an animal that is lactating might show high PSPB - basiclly because the old pregnancy is being read.

The biotracking site talks about it.

I've checked the site too. But there is no mention of the PSPB on the paper at all. IT does say in status - OPEN. Does that mean something?

"OPEN" means not bred. They would have on there that she was "PREGNANT" or "BORDERLINE PREGNANT" (usually if the blood is sent in too early and there are some hormones but not enough to say that she's indeed bred) if she were possibly bred.

Bummer.

it means that she is OPEN to go to the buck. in other words, she's not bred. sorry.
open is a term that most folks use in the livestock world. when you see or hear that a cow (or any animal) is open it means the same thing.
