Those Silly Goats!

Hubby went outside this morning to check on everyone. All the goats were standing at the fence, staring up at a large cottonwood tree on the neighbor's property. He thought they might be looking at a raccoon or owl in the tree. As he watched, several goats started running around frantically in circles, still staring up at the air. Then a fight ensued. With our record high temperatures and lack of rain, the cottonwood is starting to let go of some leaves early. The goats were watching the tree and when the wind blew, they were going after the falling leaves and fighting over them. They have figured out the leaves are falling with the wind and taking full adavantage. Wish I had the video camera out. It was pretty hilarous.

Ain't life grand, how do people without goats to watch make it through the day.

My girls hoover up all the leaves in my yard each fall they really like the sugar maple leaves.
