How do I do a fecal on my goats?

Wondering if someone could tell me how to do a fecal check for worms on my goats? We have 8 Boer does (5 months old); 2 Boer bucks (4 ans 7 months): 2 Toggenburg wethers ( approx 16 months); 3 Alpine wethers (3 years+); and one La Mancha cross wether (1 year+).

Thanks

Take a look at this Fiasco Farm Website http://fiascofarm.com/goats/fecals.htm thats how I do it pretty much. Vicki if she sees this can tell you about using a McMasters slide also. I know that the McMasters slide is a lot more scientific way to count just havn't got one yet. This will give you the jist of it though, and also the level of infestation.

We are very lucky that our local small animal vet does our fecal floats for us and is very reasonably priced. We are getting the supplies to do our own soon just for the conveniance.
