What Shots for Goats?

Hi -
I've acquired a beautiful 2 year old Nubian doe, and a 6 month old La Mancha/Nigerian Dwarf doeling.

I'm reading that they need worming around every four months, and I do not know whether they need shots or not for anything.

What wormer to use?

Any info would be appreciated!

HSH

They will need CD&T shots and here's a list of available wormers :

Could there be a sticky for Innoculations/vaccinations? I'm always wondering about them, and searching. It would be nice to have the info at hand here.

I second the recommendation for fiascofarm.com.

You don't need to worm every four months. You need to worm, when they need to be wormed, based on eyelid colors, fecals, etc. Again, something you'll need to read up on. Wormers are almost always given orally to goats, even if it says to use as a pour-on or an injection.

We vaccinate with CDT annually, but there are a lot of opinions out there on that.
