Boss ?

Is Black Oil Sunflower Seeds okay if the only kind at my farm store says for Birds?? got it to mix in with my 12% All Stock Sweet Feed.

I'm not sure I would be able to find any other kind around here. But for $10 for a 50 pound bag at the *grocery* store...whew - that sure beats the $13 from the co-op!

Yep - bird seed, goat feed, whatever. It's all BOSS.

Just don't let them pig out on them.

Our goats raided sunflower seeds out of a large birdfeeder and were just miserable for two days.

We no longer have a bird feeder.

Also, make sure that it is not "enriched" for the wild birds.
