Very adorable!! I am from michigan too ... but western michigan.

I noticed your fencing.. HOw well does that keep in adult goats?? Or do you only keep babies in that kind of fencing? Not the kind right up front but the kind you have running along the side.. the welded wire.

I've used this type for many goats.... only had a couple try to "go over the top". It hold up pretty well, and if you do get one of those escape artists, then one strand of 'lectric wire about 6-8 inches inside the woven wire will back them off nicley. I used those elongated lectric fencer insulators so I didn't need more posts.... (that keeps hogs in to if it's low enough).

PS: When installing this type of fence, be sure to use extra "fence clips" to hold it on the pole as goats tend to jump up against the fence.

How long is your fencing? and how many goats do you generally have in an area? So far I have just used the wire for building a chicken coop but I would really like to give my two goats more room.

Well, this pen will be for only 3 goats. I'm renting the barn, so that makes a diffrence to. It's 35 X 70 feet outside. They are fed hay and their grain mix. When I had a lot of goats (77 plus kids) I had acres fenced off for them... but I like them to have room.
