discharge

I noticed on my pregnant goat today that there was some crusty stuff at the vulva. Would this mean she likely is starting to lose the plug? Her back end is really taking on the skeleton look. Should I really start watching her closely?

Goats can have discharge for a few weeks before kidding. If what you mean by her back end looking skeletal is that she has dropped and is now hollowing in the flanks, then she is probably close to kidding, especially if her udder is suddenly filling. I'd keep an eye on her.
