Purebred Nubian Doe Available - SOLD!

Registered purebred Nubian yearling available. An excellent family milker who produced a set of lovely twins for us this year. Just last week this doe milked somewhere between 7.5 and 8 lbs on milk test (can't remember off hand the exact numbers) at 5 weeks fresh and this has been about the average for her production in recent weeks. She's cooperative on the milk stand and easy to milk.

This is a healthy doe from a herd regularly tested for CAE, Johne's & CL. This doe was CAE tested just a few weeks ago (blood sent to WADDL) and once again tested negative. She has also been blood tested negative for G6S.

$250 SOLD!

We are located in South Western Michigan about halfway between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids.

As stated above, she is a YEARLING so she is a first freshener.

Why is she for sale? Well, we need to cull somewhere and this doe's udder is not show quality. We breed for show and milk so every year there is room for culling. She's otherwise a nice doe. In fact, Harvey Considine raved over her last year during my HES appraisals (before his death this spring) and she was my highest scoring young stock under him.
