cjb, did those babies finally come?

I've been following your post and last note was breeder was coming to check. Did she have them? Were they pulled? Is the doe okay? Did the other one kid too?

LOL!! Had to laugh at this.... my name is actually "cliff" so it is, in fact, a "real cliff hanger"

NO!!!! No babies yet. I told the breeder not to bother because I just didn't feel good about her coming out and pulling them. She could very well not be due for another week or week and a 1/2. The breeder confirmed what several of you said - she is probably having multiples and is just uncomfortable.

She has not gone off her feed at all and has no discharge. She is HUGE, she kinda groans when she's laying down, digs in the straw, bulges while laying down etc so I'm sure she must be close but.... Maybe tonight?

When I told this to the breeder's husband he said "Oh that's normal - all women lay around and complain when they're pregnant".

My pregnant wife didn't think it was all THAT funny. ;-)

Yup, me too. No babies. Now I'm stressed out because I was just told that I have to fly to Raleigh, NC this Tuesday for four days They both better deliver by then. Either way, I'm going to miss a few days of their really cute stage
