True or Fale? kid movement means won't birth for 24 hours?

This is my third post re. our doe that is going into labor. Can you tell that I'm worried? ;-)

She has many symptoms HOWEVER, I can see a baby moving in her side.

Someone said that means "no babies for 24 hours"...

Is that true? I would be surprised if she hangs on that long. She's pawing the ground, getting up and down, moaning etc.

I'm surprised she hasn't had them yet! Keep a really close eye on her!

Which side is it where you think you see babies? One side (I think it's the left) if you see movement, it's just the rumen. But in any case, only one baby at a time can go in the birth canal (without causing major problems), and the ones lined up behind it would still be moving, so I don't know about the truth of that saying.

I dont know if that's alltogeather true about those does carrying triplets and whatnot... I understand if the kid is in the birth canal then you won't see any more movement, but all three wouldn't be in the birth canal at once, lol. So if she has three or so you may still she movement. I also knew because my doe's sides SUNK IN alot, as well. Her belly was LOW. Kinda funny lookin, hehe.
btw, left side is rumen, right side is babies! Good luck!

Ours twinned this year...on every last one of them there was wiggling even in early labor...maybe it was the second in line jockeying for position! I think we even had a couple with "false labor" this year. All the right antics, even the moaning, no kids. So much so, one got us to sleep in the barn with her, and didn't kid for a week. All were first time mamas though, so the drama was expected. The tell-tale sign for ours: "sitting". From a laying down position, they would sit up on their front knees, never quite lying down all the way.

Nope, not true. Neither is the one that says if you can feel kids then they won't be born for 24 hours. On most does I can feel kids all the way up to and through labour!
