Do CL abcesses always grow?

Or do they sometimes shrink?

I have a 6 month old doeling with a small, hard lump right in front of her shoulder, near the top of her neck. My son said that is where our friend gave her Nuflor SQ.
I have been watching it carefully, and it has been there for a while. But now it seems to be shrinking. It is not losing hair, oozing or doing anything even remotely alarming, aside from just being there.

Any info would be appreciated. I will have it cultured if there are any alarming signs.

I woudl say it is from a shot-- they will shrink after tmie--Liz
