13 kids and one doe to go

We had 5 on Sunday, and 2 more yesterday to bring us up to 13 this spring. All births were uneventful, and only a couple have had to have our help to get the kids started sucking. We are greatly blessed.

Question: one of my does (kidded Sunday) had what appeared to be a large and very full udder. So, yesterday I decided to see if she could be milked out to relieve the pressure. I only got a small amount from her, and her udder, which just got big the day before she kidded, seems hard. Is there something wrong with her, or do I just need to wait. I'm concerned that her udder just filled in, and it seems so hard, and will not give much milk.

SHe should do fine. Is she due? Milking can make a doe have contractions, so if she is due soon you should start watching for signs of babies. Good Luck with her and her undborn babies, and CONGRATS on all the little ones. Bye.

Sorry I didn't word that clearly enough. She already kidded 3 days ago, and she bagged up quite a bit just before kidding. 2 days after kidding, I tried to milk her out, but could not get much, and her udder feels harder that I am used to. Thanks for the input.
