quick tetanus question

The kids are getting dehorned today, is it a must that they get the antitoxin 'before' we do it, or is it ok to give them the shot a little later in the day? I don't have the right size needles, so would need to take a trip to town. I thought if they could wait, I would combine two errands in one later today. Thanks!!

I don't know for sure, but since the antitoxin is what they give you after an injury, it would probably be ok to do it after. That's sort of what it's designed for. But that's just my guess.
