Surprise!

My little girl Oreo (She'll be two in June and she was the very first goat I bought) was showing no signs of labor last night or today, but noticed her ligaments were gone so put her up last night. This morning she was totally ticked about being put up and was driving me crazy! She ate and was acting completely normal. No discharge so figured it would be later before labor. Had to go to town and checked on her before we left......surprise! She had a little doe on her own and she was nice and dry and walkin' around when we found her!!!!! I was so worried about her because she is my baby for one and she is small even for a pygmy. But she comes from good genes and didn't have an ounce of problems!!!!

Here they are when we found them:

She is soooo cute! And sooo tiny!!!!!!! I made sure she was nursing and the teats weren't plugged. She is doing awesome. My son wants to name her Milk Shake!

Congradulations! Mom and kid are adorable. I like both of their markings.
