Goat Cart project pictures

A while back, there were some posts about training a goat to pull a cart. I checked into some carts, and they were kinda pricey, so I decided to try making my own from plans I found on the net.
It's far from finished, but I thought I'd post what I have so far.
Eventually, it'll have a seat and floorboards, a brake, and I still don't have the single tree mounted.
The total weight will be under 100 lbs. (In theory)
Anyway, this is it so far.

That's great! My husband was thinking of building a small cart that could be pulled by either our wether or llama. How long are the shafts on yours? Where did you find your plans, what web site?

Thanks.

Here's the original plans. I've had to deviate from them a bit, and I'm making oak floorboards, fenders and a different seat.
I also mounted the wheels differently.
To me, the shafts seem kind of long, but I won't know till my harness gets here.

Very nice!
I'd like to make one for our St. Bernad.

Where are you getting a harness from?

There's a lady in Ohio who makes custom harness for goats, I'm not sure about dogs. Two Many Irons
I haven't got the harness yet, so I don't know if I recommend her or not, but it's actually cheaper than the usual suppliers like Hoegger Goat Supply.
I don't know about harness, but I've seen pictures of dogs pulling similar carts, so I think the same plans would work.
