Kid with scours

One of the kids drank off the infected side, after we put in the TODAY. Now he has scours and is acting sick. WHAT DO I DO???

Give him some probios. If the scours still don't clear up try kaolin pectin or Spectam Scour Halt. From now on, if you are going to keep the kids with the doe after treating her, cover the affected teat with teat tape so the kids can't suck it out.

We use (Pepto Bismol) and it works great. Usually its a one time thing too but we have on occasions had to give a second dose the next day. We give about 5-6 cc's . Good luck and its nice to see someone from SD. hi neighbor.

I didn't get this until this morning. I gave him nutri-drench last night and this morning he is cleared up. WHEW!

I have this unreasonable fear that I am going to kill a goat from shear ignorance. Thanks for the advice!
