What are your odds this year?

So far this year, our bucklings are out numbering our doelings by 2:1. We have 8 bucklings and 4 does and only one more momma to go!

So far out of 15 does we've had 13 bucks and 17 does (one DOA).
We have 13 or 14 more does kidding by the end of June.

Our bovine ratio has been nice so far; 4 heifers to 1 bull.
Three to calve in the next month (one in the early stages of labor right now), then a two month break and one in July. Not srue on the rest.

I've heard it's a buck year. Me so far four boys, two girls. Four more kiddings. I have always come out right at 50% each so we'll see. I need girls to fill reservations.

I am also running 2:1, with 4 bucks & 2 does. I've got a doe that is ready any day now and I am pretty sure she's going to have triplets, with any luck she'll turn this around??????

Heavy buck year for us. Our last doe kidded today, twins- boy and a girl! That makes 4 doelings and 7 bucklings but one of the boys didn't make it.

We have had 20 kids so far. Nine bucklings and eleven doelings out of eight does. We still have up to 14 does left to kid if all are bred.

This is our first year for kiddings. We have 4 doelings and 1 buckling out of 2 Pygora does. One more to go--due this weekend! What fun! Guess we're in the minority as ratios go.

We have had three doe kids, and one buck kid out of two of our does. One more doe to kid, but not until the end of summer. I'm actually hoping for a buck out of that one. We'll see. I posted pics under "my newbie nubies". The spotted buck kid will be for sale, and we will be selling at least one if not two of these girls(hard to decide). I think we'll see how they do in the show ring this summer.

This year we have had two sets of twins and a single, and last night our last pregnant doe had tripletts!! In all three boys and five girls. The first two does kidded when we werent home. One of the boys a twin born healthy but had a mishap by the time we got home, we arrived to the other doe with one girl out and one dead boy stuck inside very hard but she made it. Later that night our third doe decided to have her first baby another hard delivery, but a girl. The tripletts are two girls one boy all blue eyed pygmies or nd Im not sure. I really appreciated the easy delivery no help needed at all but I will always take it seriously after what the others had gone through.

I figured wrong - it was twins not triplets. One of each, so our totals are 5 bucks and 3 does.

2 dead babies. From 2 does. No more about to drop either. Our odds this year stink so far.
