We;ve got twins!!!

First I would like to thank everyone who helped me with all my labor questions. After I made my last post I went back out with her just in time to see the first one born. Presented in the right postition, as soon as she was out, momma was a talkin' and cleanin'! I helped dry her off some and then my doe started to lay down again...on the baby! So, got her moved out of the way and out comes baby number two. First the hoof, then the nose, then out he came! Baby number one was already walking around by this time looking to nurse and I helped momma clean off baby number 2. I haven't seen the placenta yet and she still has goo hanging from her vulva. It would'nt surprise me if she ate it. I had to get everything out, including anything that was on the walls, because she was determined to "clean" it all up. Mom and babies are doing fine. Everyone is nursing vigorously and mom seems very content. Here are some pics:

Thanks! We think they are pretty cute too! They are pygmy's. Mom and Dad aren't registered, so they are just grade. Sorry, I'm not too original with names. The first names that came to mind were Salt and Pepper...so far it's stuck!

Glad everything went well and that she is being a good mother. The kids are adorable, congratulations.
I'm sure you know to let the afterbirth all drop on its own. No matter how long that takes, do not pull on it.
You done good!

Salt and Pepper......... HOW CUTE! THey make a WONDERFUL contrast! Once again, CONGRATS on the babies, for a while there I was thinking that maybe they were boer mixes, because of the mama and the daughters heads, mixes because of the boy having so much black to him.
