Talking Beginning a tradition!

Every year since she was big enough, Daisy has been pulling our christmas tree from out in our acreage. Today was her big day, and she did her job wonderfully. I love having a goat trained to pull. She even stood while I attached her leashes to the harness! She's getting better every time I take her out to pull something. It was really easy on her this year, the tree is tiny. That's good though, she isn't conditioned very well for pulling too much. Anywho, I think I'll make this into our very first goat tradition.

That sounds like a wonderful tradition. I have a goat named Daisy also, but she's a little squirt. Her mother was a a full sized Saanen and her daddy a huge Nubian, but she's very small. Not sure what I'm going to do with her.

Sounds great that she helps out! Does she get to eat the leaves when you are done with the tree? Good luck, bye.
