Question It's close

Petals' ligaments seem to be gone this morning. It's supposed to be a beautiful day today in Western PA. Sunshine & 72. I'm hoping for the best. I'm going to make a few phone calls & see if any of the vets have farm calls. The only vet that did, in my area, stopped this summer. Figures.

I have a dentist appt. at 10, so hopefully she waits until after that. I can't cancel, or I would (really don't like needles!)

When Rosie's ligaments left, she went within 7 hours. There's still not really any show with Petal yet, but her mom didn't have any until she was having contractions, then she had the thick mucus.

And of course, Rosie is in heat & complaining all day to anyone who will listen, especially Spike, the buck.

Say a little prayer for Petals & her kids.

Thanks, Tricia

I'm close to Butler, Kittanning & Clarion. It seems that the vets will either see pets (dogs & cats) or horses. Nothing in between!

Hmmm, that's a tad far for my vet. Are you a member of BADGA? Maybe someone there can help. If you aren't, let me know. I am and I'll see what I can find out.

Ruth,
BADGA? Never heard of it . Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

She's still out there wondering around. No real change. The tendon's are definately gone. Mom is in full blown heat & of no help. It's a nice day, but a little windy. I hate to lock them in the barn. I'm trying to just keep a close eye.

Butler Area Dairy Goat Association - They're getting into the meat breeds too now. I'll post on their site and ask.

Thanks Ruth! I've never heard of them. Is that Butler, as in Butler the city? Are they based there?

Yes, that would be the City of Butler area, and areas surrounding.
