Fence Post

How in the world do I get the big T-posts out of the ground???? I need to take my old fence up and move it so I can get some more goats. But I have put the t-posts in the ground past the wide part and I just do not know how to get them out. Can't get my darn brothers to show me how to drive the tractor or i could use the lift on the front and put a small chain or something around them and pull straight up. I would like to get this moved a.s.a.p. but I need some ideas p.d.q. Thanks in advance

19 or 20, I counted but forgot just trying to get cleaned out around it right now. I stupidly let it grow up after my goats died. So now, I have the wonderful job of getting it out of the briar patch. But those are mostly the rebar type posts. I can pretty much wiggle those a little and just pull them out, hopefully. Thanks for the idea. Just might have to try that!!

We spent $20 on a t-post puller at Harbor Frieght. Some of the best bucks we've ever spent!

My husband also swears by that gadjet - said it makes the project so much easier. I don't know what they have in your area, but we have Tractor Supply Company and they sell for $40.

I had to move 6 post one time and we dug and dug and dug them out.I swore I would never do that again. I didnt, I ordered the Tpost puller from Harbor freight and It is the greatest tool on my farm, even the 75 year old neighbor borrows it to move his posts.Iam a 5'2" woman I dont have to ask for help any more to do this chore.

The pokie way of doing it (try it, it just sounds hokey)

You pull the T-post in..
You push the T-post out...
You pull the t-post in and you wiggle it all about
You do the tpost pull-up and you turn yourself around,
Thats what its all about

I do more of a mashed potato thing with them. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, pull!
