Boer/Pygora cross?

We are going to let our pygora doe breed with our Boer buck. Does anyone have any photos of this cross?

I suspect you might have birthing problems.

Hey is a pygora a mix between a pygmy and an angora, if she has pygmy in her a suspect birthing problems as well.

My son bought a really nice tri color pygmy x boer doe. She had very long legs and that darn goat would jump like crazy. She could clear all of our fences with no problem and would even jump on top of the goat shed. We ended up selling her as she was always running loose. Didn't want her to become coyote food or get hit on the road. Not sure which of her parents was the pygmy, but you could definitely tell that she had pygmy in her by her looks.

A pygora is a pygmy/angora cross. This means she's smaller than an angora (medium size breed) but much larger than a pygmy. I don't really think she'll have problems birthing.

The women we bought our pygora was breeding pygmy does to angora bucks but had to many c section births, so she then switched to angora does to pygmy bucks and that helped.

We have a Pygora too. Here name is curly. She is actually about the same size as our pygmys. She is just a treat to be around. Very friendly. We bred her to our Nigerian buck and she had a nice little buck, all white like her. He was born in May and is already as big as his momma. His name is frosty. He is a keeper too.

Petsguy,

Funny you should mention that. When we bought her she came with her kid, whose father was aslo Nigerian dwarf. The result looked like a pygmy.

Farm Boy,
Do you have any pictures of the kid? Ours looks like a nigerian, but has much longer hair. Cute guy though.

Jeff
