The Weather is cooling off..Finally

YIIPPEEE!!! Who else is excited about getting cooler weather. We are suppose to have an almost 20 degree difference tomorrow from what we had today. I'm SOO Excited. Even the goats are giddy all jumping around the pastures.

Here in Central Texas, the front came through last night, and yes, we are very excited about it. Especially with the cost of electricity now, I was very happy to turn that air conditioner off. I don't think we will need it any more this year. (hope, hope)
We had a high around seventy today, and expect fifties the next few nights. That's down right chilly for these parts.

Yep, I love this cool wether. Although it makes the horses spooky and harder to handle when riding. (They love this weather too.) It's still wonderful!

I like cooler weather, but its a little too cool here. It went from 89* to 38*. Brrrrr!! I am a warm weather person! The goats don't seem to mind though.....

I AM WEARING A SWEATER IN CENTRAL TEXAS! It was in the 50's early this morning! It was 107, about a week ago? Now the promised cold front is really, really, really here! I never believe those weathermen. It never really happens. But it's cold outside. We ran the AC yesterday, but no AC today! As far as my goats are concerned, bless their hearts, they can quit frying in the heat like living cabrito. And my horses need some cold-front spunk. I took the 3 year old out for a run last week and you would have though she was a hundred years old....she was not wanting to travel. But I think the riding is going to be mighty spunky in this weather! Love fast horses!
